Our Beginnings: Nolan Avionics
Originally founded in 1975 as Nolan Avionics by Larry Nolan, the company specialized in avionics installations and service, including multi-function displays and ADS‑B systems. For nearly two decades, Nolan’s mission was to provide trusted, hands-on avionics service to the Durant aviation community. Nolan Avionics earned a reputation in Durant as a trusted hub for pilots and aircraft owners seeking top-tier avionics expertise.
Becoming Mid‑Continental Avionics
In 2021, Nolan Avionics was acquired and rebranded as Mid‑Continental Avionics, continuing the legacy while expanding our capabilities and services. Under new ownership and fresh management, we retained the same skilled team and expanded services while preserving the hands-on, client-focused ethos established by the Nolans .
We’ve maintained our strong ties to general aviation, delivering FAA‑certified installations, custom avionics panels, and ongoing support—all with the same integrity and attention to detail the Nolans built their name on.
